Will CIMB do more than just process my claims?
At CIMB, we pride ourselves on being more than just the average medical billing company. Our account executives will create the perfect program to fit your offices needs. Aside from filing your insurance claims we also offer insurance credentialing and re-credentialing, insurance benefits verification, fee schedule recomendations, staff training, weekly account tracking reports and so much more!

How will I get my claim information to CIMB?
CIMB offers flexibility to our clients. There are a number of ways that we are able to obtain your claim information whether it be via superbill or your software generated paperwork. We have a courier that can deliver and pick -up information right from your office, 5 days a week! An account executive will work with you to accomodate your needs. CIMB will deposit your reimbursements into the bank account of your choosing for you and we will generate weekly reports so that you always know where your money is.

What can I expect from the start-up process? What information is needed?
Typically, this transition should take about three months. The process starts immediately with an evaluation, followed by a  planning session. Our highly trained Accounts Executives will meet with you one on one to get to know your office. We will review your current office procedures, your office and billing goals and determine the best program to fit your unique practice style. Basic practice information such as individual provider identifiers, facility identifiers as well as credentialing cocumentation will be needed to begin the transition process.  Coordination with your current billing system will be made as efficiently as possible so that your patient records and schedule are ready to go making this transition period as short as possible.

What incentive does CIMB have to pursue maximum reimbursement?
We charge on a percentage basis so that we have incentive to maximize your reimbursements. We do not charge a flat rate or secondary fee for those claims that require follow-up. Our Account Executives will design a program made especially for your unique practice needs.

When are Account Executives available & When can the software be accessed?
CIMB Account Executives and their associates are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday for patient phone calls and provider assistance. All calls are answered personally.  When a patient calls they speak directly with an account representative. Questions are answered courteously, and all efforts are made to expedite a settlement. Patient privacy and support are never compromised. The software is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a high-speed internet connection.

What differentiates CIMB from other billing services?
CIMB understands that every medical practice is unique and requires individualized service needs.  Unlike most other services, CIMB is able to customize our services so that you are only paying for needed services and if those services change, that too can be accommodated smoothly.  In short, you're not going to pay for something you don't need done.

Additionally, CIMB prides ourselves on being on the leading edge of technology.  For example, we were the first to bill for Point of Care Drug Tests successfully in the state of Iowa and have increased our provider's revenue in many cases by 30 to 40% from this service alone.

Communication is the key.  You will always know the status of your own billing and money.  We adjust to your schedule and make sure that you have all information at your disposal.  Your individual Account Specialist will always be available to you to discuss our mutual goal of increased revenue, claim status and your accounts receivable report.  You don't have to wait for a predetermined monthly meeting to receive the information you need.

How long am I contractually obligated to CIMB?  What is the cost?
There is not a predetermined length of time.  We know that you will continue to use our services because you know you are receiving the best possible service available.  However, you are free to discontinue services with ninety days notice.

We bill once a month on a percentage based system.  That percentage varies according to the practice size, specialty and volume of claims.  It also varies by the amount of additional services your office chooses to utilize.  We do only invoice you for money already collected - you always get paid first!
